Frequently Asked Questions....
Eyelash Extension Spa
EYELASH EXTENSIONS® are semi-permanent eyelash extensions comprised of individual synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. Our lashes are thicker at the base and taper to a fine point. They are applied to individual eyelashes, one extension at a time, for a natural, elegant look to lengthen and add fullness to the existing lashes.
Eyelash Extensions...
"They give the eyes an instant lift, with no needles or injections, you can roll out of bed looking great." says Glamour beauty writer Tram Kim Nguyen. Celebrities like Jennifer Lopez & Paris Hilton have fueled interest in the wide-eyed look. The procedure is taking hold in California and Florida & spreading slowly throughout the East Coast." - from USA Today
How many lashes are applied per eye?
It totally depends on the individual lashes. There are different size lids. Generally 100-150 lashes re applied per eye This may seem like a lot but your natural lashes may be more than this number. There are different types of lashes to apply (Thick, super thick, thin, C-shaped, J-shapes) and it depends on the look that is designed.
How Long do they last?
your lashes can last a very long time if you take good care of them and touch them up on a regular bases. Your lashes are replenished naturally from 60 to 90 days. Each individual is different. Generally, in two weeks you loose 1/3 of your lashes as fresh lashes need to grow in. Touch ups on a regular bases are important for maintaining your fabulous lashes.
What about Allergies?
The lashes are synthetic, no animal hair, they are also applied on the lash and not the lid where skin may be sensitive to allergic reactions. There are also different types of adhesive (Fume free, fast drying, strong hold, and medium)There are also colors. Brown Black, Auburn, Blonde, Red, Yellow, Green, Blue Pink...
What are EYELASH EXTENSIONS® made out of?
are crafted from synthetic polyester. Synthetic lashes respond better to wear and tear than other materials. In addition, synthetics have the least possible chance of allergic reactions with human skin. Testing has shown that there are higher percentages of people who will have adverse reactions to contact with lash extensions created from animal hairs such as mink.

  • Don't just trust your eyes to any eyelash extension specialist.
  • Pick the one who cares and very well trained.
  • No one should rush through this procedure.
  • Lash must be placed correctly, individually and artistically.
  • Lashes can be made tailored to the individual's taste.
  • Lash extension can be very natural or very dramatic.
  • Your eyes should look bigger, more defined & more beautiful even with no make up.
When PROPERLY applied, you can't feel any difference after you Eyelash Extension procedure. It should feel weightless. Lashes should look full yet individually separated with no clumps. Synthetic lashes should look realistic. The initial procedure will take between 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Touch up can take between half an hour to an hour and a half depending on wear.

When IMPROPERLY applied, your lashes feel heavy and uncomfortable as if you were wearing at home glue-on lashes. To test, lift up your eyelid, you will see mascara-like clumps, multiple criss-crossed lashes glued together. When your lashes fall out, you will see clumps of extension lashes glued on a single lash. This leave a big hole or gap as illustrated in the picture below. This technique is done in order to achieve fullness and to save time by inexperienced & careless technicians.

Please don't waste your time shopping around for prices when come to your eyes. We fix these lashes every week. These poorly applied lashes come from places that charges from $35 and as high as $150 dollars. The most important thing for the client to ask is not how much does the technician charge? The correct things to ask are how much experience do the technician have? And is the technician certified to do Eyelash Extension?

Please Beware that some places charge very cheap but only take about 25 minutes to an 40 minutes to applied a bunch of clumped up lashes, and they call it lash extension. (Lash extension is a single lash be
ing extended with one single lash.)

                                              After care

2 hrs after eyelashes extension treatment - Do not allow water to contact lashes.

2 days after eyelashes extension - Do not steam face, use steam bath, swim or wash face with hot water.

Do not use mascara on fake eyelashes, as make-up remover will affect the bonding of fake eyelashes.

Do not perm fake eyelashes.

Do not use a lash curler, as it will break both fake eyelashes and natural lashes.

Do not rub eyes or fake eyelashes when washing face. Always pat dry lashes after cleansing.
                             Common Reasons Lashes Fall Off

Mascara residue on eyelashes will compromise the contact area between eyelashes and fake eyelashes.

Fake eyelashes applied to curly or perm lashes will not adhere properly. Fake eyelashes should be used on straight lashes.

The lash life cycle is about 100 days. Fake eyelashes may fall off due to the natural lashes life cycle or because of poor technique or negligent care by client. I recommend retouch every 2 to 4 weeks to maintain best look.

Lashes were in contact with water within 2 hrs after fake eyelashes application. Rubbing eyes, facial steaming or taking a steam bath is not recommended within 2 days of process.
